Today we're going to do an excellent exercise for your lower body, in particular your gluts, quads and hamstrings. You can do this exercise at home or at the gym, and if you want to make it even harder try adding a dumbbell to each hand, or putting a barbell over the back of your shoulders to increase the resistance on each leg.

If you have trouble balancing on one leg, you could rest against something or even also use a smith machine, so there are no excuses!

How do you know when your boyfriend is actually ‘the one’ for you?

SELF: HOW TO IDENTIFY WHO YOU ARE & WHAT YOU WANT

Women can really struggle with identity issues.

Suddenly who they are is just the role they play in life. They are a mother / wife / manager / entrepreneur / sister / daughter / friend.

And their prescribed ‘role’ is so integral to their sense of self that they start identifying themselves solely with the role or roles they play, rather than who they really are.

In fact, very few of us can actually describe who we are and what we want without relying on the roles we have either been given or have worked for in life.

We’re so busy on life’s treadmill, fighting fires, being busy, working hard, being supportive, trying to stay young, keeping fit, eating well, looking out for other people and their feelings, that we neglect who we are on the inside and what we need.

So we end up neglecting ourselves.

This can lead to a real identity crisis when that role is no longer relevant or is questioned in some way.
